Privacy Policy

Wieser Social is a private social media management workspace. This policy explains what data the service processes and the controls available to you.

Who operates Wieser Social

Wieser Social is operated by Travis Wieser. Questions, privacy requests, and account deletion requests may be sent to traviswieser@gmail.com.

Information we process

Account information such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and Firebase user identifier.
Workspace information, including workspace settings, team membership, roles, invitations, and branding.
Content you create or upload, including drafts, captions, schedules, media, reports, and AI prompts.
Connected social account data authorized by you, such as account or channel identifiers, profile metadata, OAuth tokens, posts, comments, messages, and analytics.
Operational data needed to secure and operate the service, such as session cookies and audit metadata.
API keys you voluntarily add for Gemini, Groq, or Cerebras. Keys and social OAuth tokens are encrypted and are not returned to the browser after storage.

Google, YouTube, and Business Profile data

When you connect YouTube, Wieser Social may access your channel identity and metadata, channel statistics, video metadata, comments, and the videos you choose to upload. This data is used only to display your connected channel, publish content you direct the service to publish, manage comments, and provide analytics.

When you connect Google Business Profile, Wieser Social may access the Business Profile accounts and locations you manage, location metadata, local posts, and performance metrics. This data is used only to let you choose a location, publish updates you direct the service to publish, and provide workspace analytics.

Wieser Social does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate Wieser Social or when you explicitly direct a feature to send data to another service.

Wieser Social's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How information is used

Authenticate users and keep workspaces separated.
Connect social accounts and perform actions you request, such as publishing or replying.
Schedule content, synchronize analytics and inbox activity, and generate reports.
Run AI features only when you invoke them with your own provider key.
Maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Wieser Social uses Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, and file storage, and Vercel for application hosting. It communicates with the social platforms you connect and with an AI provider only when you enable and invoke that provider. Information is not sold or rented to data brokers or advertisers.

Storage and security

Access is restricted by workspace membership and role. Sensitive OAuth tokens and user-supplied API keys are encrypted at rest using authenticated encryption. HTTPS, secure session cookies, database rules, storage rules, and request validation are used to reduce unauthorized access. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Workspace data is retained while needed to provide the service. Temporary uploads are automatically eligible for deletion after seven days, and published media is eligible for lifecycle cleanup after its configured retention period. Disconnecting a social account removes its stored connection and OAuth token from Wieser Social.

You can request deletion of your account, workspace, or connected-platform data by following the data deletion instructions. Verified requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible, with a target of 30 days, except for limited information that must be retained for security or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can disconnect a provider from Social Accounts, revoke provider access from the provider's own security settings, delete content and media in the workspace, or request complete deletion. Workspace owners control member roles and access.

Children and policy changes

Wieser Social is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
